Hey classmates in Chengdu, have a great weekend! The weather is getting cooler but not cold yet, and it's a rare opportunity in Chengdu to wear some autumn outfits comfortably. So, grab some friends and go out for a walk.

This week, the FENDI Casa boutique located in in99 officially opened. This is the second independent boutique of FENDI Casa in China, with the first one opening last July at 1788 Plaza on Nanjing West Road in Shanghai, followed by an official opening event in November. This marks a new milestone for FENDI Casa's development in China and also shows the brand's emphasis on the southwestern region of China.

The store has two floors, covering an area of over 600 square meters. The space was designed by the FENDI Casa team under the guidance of FENDI's architecture department. The design language of the retail space continues with large glass windows to blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating a bright and transparent overall space. The interior decoration, under the creative direction of Silvia Venturini Fendi, exudes elegance and luxury, showcasing the individual pieces while maintaining harmony.

The first floor of the store features living room and dining room display areas, with pieces like the Groove & Groovy armchair designed by Paris designer Toan Nguyen, the Peekasit sofa designed by Controvento Studio, and the Icaro dining table designed by Dimore design group. The second floor focuses on bedroom furniture, with noteworthy pieces like the Clouds bed designed by Chiara Andreatti and the Totu bed designed by Toan Nguyen.

Additionally, the store has an independent studio where students with more needs and imagination for home life can get more support, including customizing their living space with FENDI Casa's selected materials and finishes. The boutique offers plenty to explore, experience, and browse through, especially for students in the southern region at in99.

In the same area, the recently opened Poly Time Light also offers a new destination for students in the region. Currently, there is a Da Vinci exhibition taking place, not only being one of the opening exhibitions at Poly Time Light but also the first station globally, making it significant.

The exhibition, titled "Da Vinci's Conjecture - Da Vinci Global Art Experience Exhibition," is divided into sections like "Entering Da Vinci," "Interpreting Da Vinci," "Creating Da Vinci," "Becoming Da Vinci," "Fantastic Da Vinci," and "Light and Shadow Da Vinci," summarizing Da Vinci's life. With participation from various institutions and artists, besides Da Vinci's classic works, contemporary art is used to reconstruct and interpret Da Vinci's artistic universe.

The exhibition will run until February next year, offering family tickets in addition to single and double tickets. Visitors to the venue can also explore the entire Poly Time Light, perhaps discovering a new favorite destination.

If you're looking to hang out with friends and enjoy some drinks, pay special attention to the Well Bar at The Temple House. This week, the "Residence" series at The Temple House has launched a limited edition exquisite gin called "House Gin" for Yi Residence in Hong Kong, Bo Residence in Chengdu, and Song Residence in Shanghai. Inspired by the natural beauty of Lijiang, Yunnan, and brewed with local Chinese botanicals, the House Gin also symbolizes the exploration of the unique culture and flavor of each residence by the official definition.

This "House Gin" was co-created by the "Residence" series and the bar managers of Gail Lanorias from Yi Residence, Nick Lappen from Bo Residence, and Matthew Hall from Song Residence. It blends the elegant floral fragrance of Hong Kong chrysanthemum, the freshness of Chengdu lemon peel, the fragrance of Shanghai magnolia, and the richness of Beijing cedar, telling the stories of four cities and bringing a complex herbaceous aromatic taste.

Based on this "House Gin," Bo Residence has created a special custom cocktail menu at the Well Bar, including cocktails like "Drive Martini," "Relaxing Revenge," "Good Night's Sleep," and "Red Thread of Fate." These cocktails are mainly made with the "House Gin," offering an extended taste of the gin. This special cocktail menu will be available until the end of November, giving us a chance to experience a variety of flavors.

At the Chengdu Museum, the special exhibition "Interwoven Gaze - Special Exhibition of French Academicians Art at the French Academy" opened at the end of September and is currently ongoing. This exhibition is part of a series of commemorative activities for the 60th anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations this year.

The exhibition presents 83 works of sculpture, oil painting, ink wash painting, and sketch from 7 academicians of the French Academy: Zhu Dequn, Zao Wou-Ki, Jean Cardot, Claude Abeille, Jean Ango, Philippe Gaillard, and Pierre-Yves Trémor. It also includes 2 corresponding academicians of the French Academy, Wu Guanzhong and Wu Weishan.

In addition to the representative works of these artists, the exhibition further supplements the content with documents, short films, projections, and other means, allowing the audience to more fully feel and understand the mutual influence and exchange of Sino-French art since the 20th century.

Furthermore, as Halloween approaches, the festive activities at Happy Valley are also ongoing, with 7 special fantasy scenes and 8 "Scream Houses" providing a thrilling experience. The settings and NPCs are all updated, offering a fun time for enthusiastic students.
